VTCT Level 3 - Award in Education and Training

We are a multi-award-winning academy in training, and business and also an excellent score, with no advisories on recommended learner support on all of our awarding body inspections. We dedicate our working lives to supporting our learners in the paths they choose to grow both their careers in employment and businesses.
We have noticed a big gap that needs to be closed in education regarding those who teach for money and those who teach to care for their learner’s future and we aim to close this gap by passing our passion for learning onto our learners. We offer full support both within learning and lifetime support. We offer a short turnaround for marking assignments submitted Monday-Friday.

Ideal for beginners who are looking to get into teaching up to Level 4 learners (or accredited courses, such as CPD/ABT)

Your assessor has 12 years of teaching, assessing and IQA'ing experience with their own VTCT and Qualifi centre. Her teaching style is not just to pass the course, but to understand the world of education and what is required in day-to-day life within the industry. She also provides lifetime support for all learners to ensure that the learners do not feel alone when starting out.

• Access to a Totum card/student card (1 year: £19 or 2 years: £29)
• Enrolment process & then access to your online theory portal & assessor
• 1 x Live Zoom session with your assessor to discuss the theory (booked with your assessor directly)
• Videos and resources for each unit to refer back to and complete your assignments
• Online assignments to complete from home
• 1 x Observation (Microteach) - this is completed by either a recording or via Live Zoom

Observation:

Assessments = You will be required to assess students and mark their coursework as part of your assessment

Microteach = Yes, you will be required to teach 2 students, for 20-30 minutes on anything you are passionate about, whether it's ‘how to make an origami paper cup’ or ‘how to create a PowerPoint presentation’. The assessment looks at how you prepare and deliver the information to your ‘learners’.

Special Note: Please be informed that apart from the initial fee, you have to pay GBP 299 when submitting assignments. - This also includes your registration fee and certification.

This is recommended for those aged 19+ and those looking into getting into teaching their chosen subject, whether it is delivering regulated courses up to Level 4 or accredited courses, such as CPD, ABT etc.

A small level of knowledge in ICT as assignments will be required to be typed and uploaded to the portal.

Guidance can be given throughout.

On completion of this qualification the learner may choose to undertake further study; qualifications you could progress to include:

• VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement OR
• VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training
