Course Curriculum: Web Design and WordPress - QLS Level 4, 5 & 7

In Level 4 of the Web Design and WordPress course, you will learn the fundamentals of web design. The course covers how to organise and gather information from clients for a web design project. You will learn about design principles and techniques such as sketching, wireframing, atomic design, and the 8-point grid system. You will also learn about style guides, colours, and typography scales.

Level 5 focuses on designing for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. You will learn how to plan and design responsive websites that are optimised for different screen sizes. Additionally, you will learn how to design for developers, how to prototype with the Invision app, and how to use SVGs and icon fonts in web design. The course also includes an introduction to WordPress and instructions on how to install it.

In Level 7, you will dive deeper into WordPress development. You will learn about WordPress page builders and how to use them to design custom websites. You will also learn how to develop different pages, such as the home, about, contact, and blog pages. You will learn about free plugins to mimic Elementor Pro and how to export and import Elementor pages.
