Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant - EYFS
Location: Kirkby
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: £85 - £90 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a nurturing and proactive Teaching Assistant with experience in early years and SEN? A welcoming primary school in Kirkby is looking for a compassionate individual to support a child in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with global developmental delay.

This is a rewarding full-time, term-time role that offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in a child's early learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support tailored to the child's specific learning and developmental needs
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
• Support the child in classroom and play-based activities that promote communication and social development
• Maintain consistent communication with staff and parents regarding progress and challenges
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for learning

Requirements:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is highly desirable
• Previous UK school experience is essential, particularly in early years or SEN support
• A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to individual learning needs
• A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references from the last five years, including one safeguarding reference
