Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in their early years?

Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated Level 3-qualified Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN in a Reception class at a welcoming primary school in Kirkby. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in education.

Your Role:

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Reception, you will:

  • Provide personalised support to help a child with SEN engage in learning.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies.
  • Assist with classroom activities that promote development and inclusion.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing environment that encourages social and emotional growth.
  • Maintain strong communication with school staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback on the child's development.
What We're Looking For:
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN in a UK primary school setting (UK experience is essential).
  • Understanding of early childhood development and SEN support strategies.
  • Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
