1:1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Job available from September in Eastleigh.

This school, in Eastleigh is looking for a teaching assistant who will be able to support pupils across the school on a 1:1 basis with pupils in various year groups. As a teaching assistant you will be supporting communication literacy and numeracy. Ideally the right candidate will have experience of working with children with complex learning needs and challenging behaviour.

Typically you could be supporting pupils with Down's Syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) , speech and language disorders, vulnerable children and children with delayed learning needs. Pupils will have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

This is a full time teaching assistant starting September 2024, thought part-time options are available.
