2 Man Grab Team

Our client Walton Civil Engineering  is looking for a 2 Man Grab Team to carry out works on the Wales & West contract backfilling gas replacement sites in Exeter & Torbay areas. Day to day work will consist of working as a grab team to compact materials, complete duct repairs, topsoiling and sweeping/clearing up compounds.

We are preferable looking for a team that are already working together and can hit the ground running, the contract has already started with one grab but has the need for two full time.

A van will be provided to get to and from the Exeter Depot (EX5) where the Grab is parked.

Salary & Working Hours:

• Hours are 6.30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday (Applicants will be required to report to our Exeter Depot EX5 1SD each day)
• Overtime and weekend working available at an increased rate
• PAYE or LOSC basis - rates to be discussed depending on experience

Key Requirement:

• 1 of the 2 to hold Streetworks units 1-4 as a minimum
• Clamshell ticket
• Clean driving licenses as a minimum, 1 HGV & 1 CAT B
• 2 Years + experience in backfilling
• Hard working attitude
• Reliable

Preferable Accreditations:

• SHEA Gas
• Digger/Dumper Ticket
