Senior 2nd Line Engineer

Witham (fully onsite)

£32,000-35,000 per annum (DOE) + excellent benefits

I have partnered with a growing Managed Service Provider who are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team in Witham.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide 2nd Line Support- remotely to clients across the UK and onsite to internal users
  • To provide support via phone calls, emails, ticketing systems and face-to-face
  • Escalating issues to 3rd line engineers
  • Resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Troubleshooting hardware/software issues
  • Providing basic network support

Experience:

  • Previous experience of working in a 2nd line position
  • Previous MSP experience
  • Active Directory/group Policy
  • Azure/Azure AD
  • Virtual Machines- VMWare/Hyper-V/Citrix
  • SCCM
  • NS Exchange
  • Office 365 administration
  • Exposure to Windows Servers
  • Understanding of basic networking protocols- DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
