2nd Line IT Service Desk Engineer - Borehamwood - £40K (DOE)

A leading Microsoft Solutions Partner with expertise in Azure hosted Infrastructure and Modern Work solutions are going through a period of rapid growth in 2024, and now offering a great opportunity for a 2nd line IT Service Desk Engineer to join their team.

As a company, they are a close-knit service desk of 10, who are always looking to develop their staff through hands-on experience and training.

Key Skills suitable for the role:

• Previous MSP experience
• Windows Server 2022/2019 administration
• Office 365
• Working Entra ID (Azure) experience
• Intune deployment
• Networking - TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP
• Good routing, switches and firewalls (e.g. Ubiquiti, SonicWALL)

It would be beneficial if this ideal candidate has a full UK Drivers licence and Microsoft Certifications e.g. AZ-104, although this is not essential.

The role includes acting as an escalation point for the 1st line team, delivering great customer service whilst also assisting with research and development of MS products. When you're not doing this, you can expect regular personal development plans, time to study for Microsoft exams and regular social events.
