2nd line Security Analyst - Reading Hybrid (3 times per week in office 2 times per week at home) - £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)  

FryerMiles are delighted to be partnered with a Reading based manufacturing business to support them in their search for a 2nd line Service Desk Security Analyst. 

The positions key focus is to contribute to the clients security for their infrastructure and applications through providing 2nd line support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Everyday Incident management and security monitoring
  • Responding to tickets from a security perspective within time scales
  • Ensure alignment with relevant security frameworks(ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials+)
  • Take the lead on security patching for both internal and external requirements
  • Continuously upkeep and revolutionise security related service desk procedures
  • Collagborate with service desk colleauges to make sure security is at the heart of all IT functions

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstratable experience working in a technical security environment
  • Background in Networking, application support or service desk environment
  • WAN/LAN networking experience
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies
  • Firewall and network security experience
  • ISO27001 & Cyber Essential Experience
  • SIEM tool experience preferably Sentinel
  • EDR experience preferably crowdstrike or defender for endpoint

This is a hybrid position based out of the clients Reading office 3 days per week and 2 days per week working from home and is open to UK residents only. Unfortunately this position can't provide sponsorship.
