2nd line Security Analyst - Reading Hybrid (3 times per week in office 2 times per week at home) - £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
FryerMiles are delighted to be partnered with a Reading based manufacturing business to support them in their search for a 2nd line Service Desk Security Analyst.
The positions key focus is to contribute to the clients security for their infrastructure and applications through providing 2nd line support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Everyday Incident management and security monitoring
- Responding to tickets from a security perspective within time scales
- Ensure alignment with relevant security frameworks(ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials+)
- Take the lead on security patching for both internal and external requirements
- Continuously upkeep and revolutionise security related service desk procedures
- Collagborate with service desk colleauges to make sure security is at the heart of all IT functions
Key Skills & Experience:
- Demonstratable experience working in a technical security environment
- Background in Networking, application support or service desk environment
- WAN/LAN networking experience
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies
- Firewall and network security experience
- ISO27001 & Cyber Essential Experience
- SIEM tool experience preferably Sentinel
- EDR experience preferably crowdstrike or defender for endpoint
This is a hybrid position based out of the clients Reading office 3 days per week and 2 days per week working from home and is open to UK residents only. Unfortunately this position can't provide sponsorship.
