About the Role:

Focus Group Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our client's dynamic team on a night shift basis. Our client, a leading IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) with operations in the UK and South Africa, is known for delivering top-notch IT solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd line support to SME clients, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues.
• Collaborate with the wider service delivery team to meet and exceed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Handle the installation and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamic operating systems and online services.
• Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Exchange Technologies, Active Directory, Firewalls, Routers, and VPN technologies.
• Support Microsoft Office and 365 services to ensure seamless operation and user satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 2 - 3 years’ experience as a ServiceDesk Engineer supporting SMEs.
• Customer Interaction: Proven experience working in a customer-facing role.
• SLA Management: Familiar with working to SLAs to meet both customer and contract requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a wider service delivery function.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamic operating systems and online services, including installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of Exchange Technologies.
  • Experience with Active Directory management.
  • Understanding of Firewalls, Routers, and VPN technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 365 services.
