2PQE Legal Counsel 4/5 days: Newcastle

A fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with previous commercial experience to work in-house, reporting to the General Counsel at a market-leading UK organisation which forms part of a large global group. Will consider applications from candidates looking to work full-time or on 4 days a week.

My client is a market leading organisation in the UK which forms part of one of the largest global groups in the sector it operates in. With an office located in the North East of England, there is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with over 2 years PQE working in commercial law who is keen to further develop their commercial contract skills and broaden their skills on work in other areas such as regulatory matters.

This would be a perfect role for any candidates in the Newcastle area currently working in private practice and looking to make the transition in-house, although they are happy to consider those already working in-house.

This is a role that will involve working collaboratively with various other departments across the business in addition to engagement with external stakeholders. It is vital, therefore, that any candidates meeting the criteria for applying to this role are comfortable and confident in both building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally. The work that this role will entail and the level of direct client engagement is of the quality that solicitors would only usually expect to receive when they have a greater level of PQE under their belt.

The salary for this role will be bespoke depending on the particular experience of the successful individual.
