MB618: 3.5 Tonne Driver
Location: Aldershot and surrounding areas
Salary: £25,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 6am and 3.30pm (flexi shifts in between these times) + time and a half overtime over 40 hours

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a 3.5 Tonne Driver on behalf of one of our fantastic clients who require someone to cover the area of Aldershot and surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To drive a 3.5 tonne tail lift vehicle.
  • Ensure all goods are loaded, secured and delivered safely and professionally.
  • Ensure all required paperwork is completed at point of delivery/collection.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Operate in accordance with training and Policies & Procedures.
  • Comply with Health and Safety legislation, Company Health and Safety policies and procedures and current EU Road Transport Regulations at all times.
  • Ensure the delivery vehicle is roadworthy and daily vehicle walk rounds have been completed and recorded.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • A full UK license that enables you to drive 3.5 tonne vehicles
  • Zero endorsements preferred; any endorsements must be stated at application stage (maximum 6 points)
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Have a positive approach to Health & Safety.
  • Excellent driving skills.
  • Knowledge of local area and experience of working within a Builders Merchant would be beneficial.
