3D Art Lecturer
  • Salary: £20-£30 per hour
  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Job Type: Part-time (0.6), Temporary (potential for temp to perm)

We are seeking a 3D Art Lecturer to join a vibrant college in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be passionate about art and education, with a speciality in 3D art. This temporary 0.6 contract involves teaching 3 days a week, including an evening class, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach UAL Level 3 and Level 2 Art courses with a focus on 3D art.
  • Conduct a Level 1 Pottery evening class.
  • Prepare lesson plans and deliver high-quality teaching that inspires and engages students.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student work to facilitate progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A Level 3 qualification in Art, or equivalent.
  • A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Hold a teaching qualification or be currently working towards one.
  • Experience in teaching or a strong desire to develop teaching skills.
  • Proficiency in 3D art techniques and a willingness to stay updated with current practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
