3D Tekla Modeler

First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking an Estimator for their client based in Derby who specialise in structures in residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for modelling structural steelwork / portal frame schemes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one years' experience as a 3D Tekla Modeler/CAD Technician, preferably with knowledge of structural steel, and will ensure projects are adequately modelled within an effective timeframe to support the delivery of projects.

The Role:

• Understand the client's enquiry documentation to fully ascertain the requirements of the tender to ensure the bid submissions are compliant.
• Have the ability to read and understand structural engineers' and architects' general arrangement drawings, design reports & specifications.
• Able to use Tekla Structures.
• Produce bid information including material quantity lists, 3D Views, PDF Models and piece counts.

Experience:

• Minimum one years' experience working with Tekla Structures.
• Ability to work within allocated time scales to meet the requirements of our clients.
• Work well within a team to achieve targets set by the Bid Manager.
