3rd Line Support Technician
Whiteley, Hampshire, PO15 7FJ

  • £28,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience

Our client's team is known for their exceptional expertise and personable approach, ensuring that customers trust them with all of their IT needs.

Due to growth, they now have an exciting opportunity for a 3rd Line Support Technician to act as a crucial part of the team, handling advanced technical issues and ensuring the smooth operation of their client’s IT systems.


About the role:

The post holder will be responsible for providing support both remotely and on-site ensuring customer systems are secured and documented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and resolve helpdesk inquiries.
  • Manage a variety of MSP-related services and applications.
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot infrastructure hardware and virtual environments.
  • Keep an eye on zero-day threats and guide customers.
  • Oversee and ensure the performance and security of systems.
  • Develop and update technical documentation.


About you:

They are looking for a skilled IT professional with a proven track record in support environments. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills. You will also have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver IT Projects.
  • Proficiency in 3rd-line networking concepts and security.
  • Experience with WatchGuard Firewalls is desirable.
