3rd Line Support

• Annual Salary: £45,000 - £52,000

We are on the lookout for a skilled 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent understanding of Active Directory, domain services, and a solid foundation in both Windows server operating systems. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in IT infrastructure, particularly within the manufacturing industry, who is proactive and dedicated to providing high-quality IT support.

• Maintain and manage Active Directory and domain services.
• Support Windows server operating systems.
• Administer Microsoft DNS and Group policy.
• Manage networking within the business, ideally with experience in Meraki.
• Oversee Microsoft Hyper-V environments and Failover Clustering.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to protect the organisation.
• Utilise mobile technology in a business setting.
• Provide detailed and customer-centric IT support.
• Maintain high standards of work with exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of Active Directory and domain services.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Office 365 suite.
• Knowledge of Windows server operating systems and Linux.
• Familiarity with Microsoft DNS, Group policy, Hyper-V, and Failover Clustering.
• Networking experience in a business environment, preferably with Meraki.
• Cybersecurity experience.
• Understanding of mobile technology in a business context.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with various levels of personnel.

• Experience with VMware, Veeam/VCC, Dell Data domain, Nagios, PowerShell.
• Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, SQL Database administration, Barracuda backup systems.
• Familiarity with KACE Systems Management Appliance and KACE Cloud Mobile Device Manager.
• Proficiency in Python and configuration of Infrastructure and development environments.
• Experience with NodeJS, including Express, Axios, and React.
• Background in manufacturing, especially with automation or the food industry, is a plus.

• Competitive salary range of £48,000 - £52,000.
