4.5-Tonne Driver

Location: Willesden, North West London

Hours: 27.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm (flexibility required)

Position Overview: As a 4.5-Tonne Driver, you’ll be a vital part of our daily operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of building materials to customers and project sites.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Category C1 Entitlement license with a clean driving record.
  • Current 35 Hours drivers CPC required.
  • Previous experience in a 4.5-tonne or higher vehicle category preferred.
  • Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain a 4.5-tonne delivery vehicle.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Operate the 4.5-tonne delivery vehicle responsibly, following traffic laws and safety protocols.
  • Safely load and unload building materials, securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
  • Be a key point of contact with customers during deliveries, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Perform routine inspections and promptly report any issues.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery and mileage logs.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
