7.5 Tonne Driver
Are you a skilled driver with experience in manual handling and physical fitness? We are currently seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client's team based in Lancaster.
Our client, a well-established logistics company, is looking for a reliable and dedicated individual to join their team. As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to various destinations such as Penrith and Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules, taking into consideration traffic and weather conditions
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and maintain records of deliveries
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement and full CPC qualification
Proven experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver or similar role
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items regularly
Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays when required
