Premier Work Support are recruiting for a Temporary 7.5 Tonne Driver for one of our Prestigious Clients based in Crawley.

We are seeking a reliable and responsible 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of goods across the local region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5 Tonne delivery vehicle to transport goods to other branches.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Verify delivery information, ensuring accurate order fulfilment.
  • Maintain delivery logs and reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping of deliveries and any issues encountered.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Driving local routes across Sussex & the south coast with some London routes required.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK DVLA Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Valid in date CPC License.

Working Hours:

  • Start Time - 06:00AM - 14:00pm - please note this is dependant on deliveries being completed.
  • Monday - Friday

Benefits include 28 days holiday, parking on-site and shift allowance.
