7.5 Tonne Driver

Location: Bedford

Salary: £29,000 per annum

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 8-hour days, 5.30am or 6am start, Monday to Friday

Our client, a well-established and respected logistics company, is seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 tonne driver to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver goods to various locations.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
  • Conduct pre- and post-vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure goods are handled with care.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team and customers.

Requirements:

  • A valid CPC licence.
  • Proven experience as a 7.5 tonne driver.
  • A clean driving licence (minor endorsements may be considered).
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.

Excellent time management and communication skills
