Driver Hire Southampton have a fantastic opportunity for 7.5T drivers to join a well-established company based in Southampton. For this position you will be required to deliver home improvement materials to commercial and residential areas with the help of a drivers mate.

Information about this role:

  • Driving a 7.5T vehicle
  • Start time between 7:00am and 11:00am
  • Ad HOC basis working any days from Monday to Saturday
  • Heavy lifting involved
  • Shifts range from 8 to 10 hours
  • You will have a drivers mate to assist with lifting and directions
  • Deliveries of home improvement good around the South Coast

Important requirements from our HGV drivers:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must have a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • No DD's or DR's
  • Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
  • Minimum of 6 months driving a 7.5T vehicle
  • Physically fit
  • Good understanding of heavy lifting and manual handling procedures
  • Happy to heavy lift and complete work with the help of a driver's mate
  • Good area knowledge
