7.5T Driver required for a position with our well known client based in Leamington Spa.  This position is a temp-to-perm position for the correct candidate.  This role consists of the delivery of fresh produce to restaurants and cafe's.  

The Role:

In this role, you will be undertaking multi-drop deliveries nationally.  This work is strenuous, so the ideal candidate will be physically fit as handball will be involved.  The ideal candidate must also be adept at using handheld PDA machines in order to confirm deliveries.  Training will be provided, allowing the candidate an opportunity to learn what is expected of them before completing the job alone.  

Shift Pattern: 

  • The shift pattern is a rolling 6 week pattern - 5 days, 6 days, 5 days, 6 days, 4 days, 4 days and then repeat.  
  • Every Sunday will be a day off, however candidate's will only have 1 Saturday off every 6 weeks.  
  • Early starts - 04:00am onwards 
  • 9 hour shift on average 

The Perfect Candidate: 
  • Will hold a Clean Full UK Driving Licence with LGV C1 entitlement
  • Will hold a valid Tachograph and CPC Card
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience for insurance purposes.  
  • Will be over 25 years old for insurance purposes
  • Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Will be confident and competent using a PDA machine 
  • Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
