One of our Clients in Derbyshire are looking for a 7.5T driver, a family run haulier based in Swadlincote Derbyshire are looking for a driver for one of our 7.5t vehicles. We operate all over the UK Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work, this role will mostly be day work based from our Swadlincote yard, occasional nights out will be required hotel will be provided. The ideal candidate must have a can do attitude, good time management and a good knowledge of UK road network. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a 7.5T, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), in date digital tachograph card, and in date CPC card.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper requirement
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects to transport manager
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports

Requirements:

Valid 7.5t licence 
In date tachograph card
In date CPC card
Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations
Right to live and work in the UK
Be fluent in English
Must have held license for a minimum of 2 years
Be over 25 years of age
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

10 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
