ACA Qualified Interim Head of Finance - Private Healthcare

Hello,

I am looking for an Interim Head of Finance to join a Private Healthcare company for a period of 6-12 months. The client is looking for a commercial background with an ACA/ACCA Qualification from one of the Big 4.

The role will be predominately fully remote with travel 2/3 times a month to a London based office.

Be responsible for leading the FP&A function, providing strategic financial insights, and supporting key decision-making processes across the business, including the budget setting cycle and other reporting and forecasting activities across the group.

Line management responsibility for a team of seven providing direct oversight, support and guidance on a day to day basis.
•
To ensure the effective coordination and allocation of tasks across the team and being responsible for those tasks that are more complex in nature.

Ownership and management of the financial month end process, including the preparation and review of month-end journals, P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, as well as working closely with the DoF and CFO to communicate progress and agree approach in relevant areas.

Oversee the preparation and dissemination of management information including monthly management accounts and variance analysis for circulation and presentation to operational colleagues.

Collaboration with the financial control team to provide oversight of the balance sheet position and associated reconciliations for all relevant accounts across the organisation, including follow up actions where required.

Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information and provide guidance on financial implications of business strategies/actions to colleagues.
•
Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems.
•
Contribute directly to the closing of the year end accounts, and owning the preparation of year end schedules and detailed listings for external statutory audit.
•
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function, identifying areas for process optimisation and automation.
