Salary: CSET 8 £30,296 FTE, £22,889 prorated

Hours: 32.50 per week, 39 weeks of the year (term time only + INSET)

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31 August 2025

About the Role: We’re excited to introduce a brand new opportunity for a Teaching Assistant within our educational community. This role focuses on working with students outside the traditional classroom environment, aiming to close academic gaps, particularly in English and Maths. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in reintegrating students back into the mainstream classroom. Your responsibilities include planning, preparing, coordinating, and delivering 1:1 and small group sessions. You’ll collaborate closely with teaching staff and other specialized interventions within the school.

About You:

• You are a committed, enthusiastic, and caring individual.
• Your ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, combined with your initiative and independent work skills, makes you an ideal fit.
• Quick thinking and adaptability are essential, as you’ll adjust techniques based on students’ responses.
• A good standard of general education equivalent to NVQ level 3 or equivalent with some relevant experience, or substantial relevant experience in a similar role or environment.
• A high standard of English and Mathematics qualification.
• Previous teaching experience would be desirable, but not essential
