Account Assistant
This position requires an Account Assistant to perform a variety of accounting tasks, providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements and reporting in the Hospitality industry.

Description
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
- Assist with other accounting projects.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit yearly tax returns.
- Assist with review of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
Profile
A successful Account Assistant should have:
- An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
