Account Manager - Field Based
Location: M3 Corridor
Salary: Up to 40K basic, £55K-60K OTE

Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a well-established and reputable distributor of Catering and Hospitality consumables to the food service market.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for covering the M3 Corridor and will require daily travel within the assigned area. The role is mainly looking after existing business, but you will also be responsible for developing new business from your sales activities to positively contribute to the growth of the company.
To be a consideration for this role, you will be able to demonstrate proven sales, business development and account management experience and be target driven. You will be professional, confident and able to deal with a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
The successful Account Manager will be able to:-
- Nurture and develop a portfolio of existing customers through relationship building and support.
- Build, manage and generate own leads through LinkedIn, cold calling and referrals to win new business.
- Demonstrate strong (B2B) sales experience with proven success.
- Demonstrate consultative selling acumen and refined, confident closing skills.
- Travel and efficiently plan and manage time to achieve targets.
- Effectively manage escalations and hold relevant teams accountable for delivery of positive customer experience and service levels.
- Build strong client relationships and work collaboratively across functions.
- Understand complex customer requirements & build appropriate solutions for customers.
- Have an understanding of the Tender/RFI process & be comfortable taking ownership of these.
- Demonstrate excellent presentation skills and an ability to engage audiences.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills.
- Actively seek innovative ways to improve processes, products, and the customer experience.
- Demonstrate superior judgement and excel at utilizing information to build a business case and enact positive change.
- Understand the hierarchy and culture of customer and supplier organizations and be able to identify the decision makers and influencers.
- Demonstrate the capacity to manage changing priorities and ambiguity while remaining calm and controlled.
- Prepare quotations and subsequently convert potential customers into new trading accounts.
