About you:

• You've sold software solutions to hotel clients and understand how the systems are fundamental to the smooth and profitable running of daily hotel operations
• You're familiar with the hotel industry; perhaps having worked in / around hotels previously
• You understand how to get the best out of people, delivering a message right and influencing across different teams and stakeholders; from Engineers to Sales to c-suite, customers and third parties
• You understand what it takes to be successful in sales - sales is a process that benefits from constant refinement, it's a skill that requires practice and nurturing. You proactively seek out methods / resources to improve your own sales skills
• You're bold and prepared to drive change, you use learning techniques, soft skills and lead by example to inject new ways of thinking wherever needed
• You've got a curious mind, you read around your subject and default to open when it comes to sharing knowledge
• You put a customer lens on all that you do. You have the ability to understand the problems of our customers and use your expertise to guide them to the best outcome

Day-to-day, you will:

In this role you'll be responsible for growing business in a defined geographic territory by leveraging three market channels:

• Net-new small / medium-sized hotel customers (50 bedrooms and less).
• New site sales to existing customers (any size)
• Upsell and cross-sell of additional products & services to existing customers.
Across these channels you will be responsible for the full end-to-end sales cycle, utilising resources in the broader Guestline & Access teams where required (for example, pre-sales).
In addition to the above you will understand that maintaining outstanding relationships with our customers, through professional and proactive account engagement, is paramount to the ongoing success of our business, and theirs. To be successful in this role, you'll have a sound working knowledge of Hotel PMS, C&B, PoS and/ or Distribution systems.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

• Understand and articulate the value proposition of our solutions.
• Embrace targets and devise your own personal sales strategy to deliver or exceed them.
• Provide regular and accurate forecasting information to the business.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with your allocated Guestline customers, and prospects.
• Work with the Customer Engagement team to provide excellent service to your allocated customers.
• Wherever appropriate, use remote selling' techniques to maximise sales efficiency.
• Stay current on our products and services.
• Confidently demonstrate Guestline products to customers virtually and in-person
• Use a consultative sales approach to ensure that solutions are tailored to our customers unique value based' requirements.
• Taking leads from our Marketing and Customer Engagement teams to drive further upsell.
• Attending trade shows to network and introduce our products to new customers.
• Be highly proactive and search our opportunities to develop incremental business.
• Disseminate product information to customers.
• Increase the profile of Guestline throughout the UK
• Problem-solving with customers, using open communication to deliver a great service.
