Our client, an international electronic products manufacturer and distributor, are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager (Electronics) to join their growing UK team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing business sales operations within a designated region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of building a strong customer portfolio, and a proven track record of driving sales and business growth.

The company have over 8,000 employees internationally and turned over 2 billion euros in sales last financial year. Their growth is still rapid, with an ambitious view on 2024 and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with overall company objectives through building a pipeline of customers regionally.
  • Work to generating face to face meetings each week to establish connections with key decision makers to be able to showcase product, versatility and quality of product.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create and execute plans to move into new markets and expand the customer base.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performance sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Working with customers on their requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and maximize profitability.
  • Providing data and reports on your customer portfolio to management.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback to enhance products and services.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key partners, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility.

  • Experience in Technical sales from Electronics background
  • Goal led and focused on driving results
  • Enthusiasm to develop and learn.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
  • Computer literacy
