Reed Business Support in Cambridge are working with a renowned local business who are looking for an Account Manager / Telesales Team Leader to spearhead their sales efforts and drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess a track record of achieving sales targets. This role involves leading a small team of two telesales executives, managing client accounts and developing sales strategies to meet business goals.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Lead and motivate a small team of telesales representatives to exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract and retain clients.
  • Manage and nurture new and existing client accounts to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Conduct outbound calls and meetings to potential clients to expand our customer base, some UK travel will be required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in telesales or account management, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • A strong passion for the food industry.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a dynamic sales environment.
  • Driving Licence - company car will be provided.
