A £220m global leader in the design and manufacture of sealing products, used in a wide variety of process industries including petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage and power generation, is looking to strengthen its UK Sales team, further adding to the success of an initiative that has delivered 60% growth over the last five years.
We’re looking to recruit an individual to the role of Account Manager and are seeking a candidate who will be responsible for fostering strong client relationships and driving business growth. You will ensure seamless communication between the company and its clients, by providing technical expertise, addressing concerns and delivering innovative sealing solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty
- Providing clients with informed solutions that meet their specific requirements
- Driving sales growth by identifying new opportunities and meeting revenue targets
- Facilitating effective communication between clients and internal teams
- Addressing client concerns and providing effective and timely solutions
- Negotiating contracts, terms and pricing
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports
- Educating clients on product features and benefits
As Account Manager you’ll need:
- The ability to effectively convey technical information to clients
- Dedication to understanding clients’ needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The capacity to establish and nurture long-term relationships
- To identify and resolve client challenges
- Experience of negotiating terms, contracts and agreements
- Effective time management skills
- The ability to upsell and cross-sell
- Competence in MS Office
- Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Hubspot and/or Salesforce)
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferable)
- Industrial sealing industry experience (preferable)
