Account Manager

Nottingham

£35,000 - £45,000 DOE + bonus

We are thrilled to collaborate with a market leader in the development and provision of software solutions across various sectors. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to appoint an Account Manager. The primary focus of this role is to drive sales, manage the commercial aspects of accounts, and foster strong relationships at all levels within customer organisations.

Description of the role:

  • Achieve the annual sales target set for designated accounts.
  • Effectively present and explain the company's ERP services.
  • Oversee and manage all daily commercial aspects of the account, with a focus on boosting IT expenditure.
  • Provide monthly reports and forecasts on account activity and opportunities during sales meetings and through CRM.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all levels within the account and related companies.
  • Assume complete commercial responsibility for multiple named accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage customer needs and drive solutions.
  • Discover and secure sales opportunities within the assigned accounts.

About you:

  • Proven experience in sales within a software solutions environment.
  • Exceptional technical understanding of applications and technology.
  • Demonstrated success in a comparable role.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Highly proactive, motivated, and possesses a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
