Are you highly commercial individual and have account management experience gained working for either an energy brokerage/ consultancy or energy supplier? We are looking for an Account Manager to join a fast-growing energy brokerage. As the Sales Account Manager, your primary responsibilities include managing existing accounts and resolving respective client issues. This includes analysis and summarising billing reports, identifying and escalating billing issues and responding to general account queries. You will also take the sole lead on managing change of tenancies (COTs) for customers. You will also be expected to sell flexible/ basket contracts. Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain client satisfaction with extremely hands-on account management
  • Conduct and manage end-to-end process of Change of Tenancy for all customers
  • Manage transfer objections
  • Use own leads / existing relationships to grow the business in quieter periods - commission paid
  • Cost Analysis
  • Managing Day to Day client issues & requests
  • Validation of billing reports
  • Achieve personal sales target of 2GW per quarter



Skills and experience required: 

  • 3 years Account Management experience within an energy brokerage/ consultancy or supplier
  • Knowledge of procurement
  • Experienced in selling & managing flexible contracts / basket contracts
  • Solid understanding of wholesale commodity markets
  • Solid understanding of non-energy charges
  • Highly organised
  • Abie to deliver new sales via own leads / relationships whilst prioritising account management
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • MS Excel experience


Desirable skills:

•             Net Zero knowledge

•             Knowledge of new technologies - solar, EV, battery storage etc
