Our client, a Fresh Produce company based in Kent is seeking an experienced Account Technical Manager. The key purpose will be to develop and maintain the customer relationship whilst promoting and driving the business forward. Accountable for the whole Supply Chain, including supplier reputation and deliver on quality and service KPI's to maintain sales and promote growth. In this role you will be required on occasion to travel overseas to visit their growers across the world. The main duties for this role, will be:

  • Proven success in a Technical/Procurement Management role, able to achieve high levels of performance through a collaborative approach with others.
  • Well-versed in making good business decisions at pace, sometimes with limited information.
  • Ability to understand and interpret customer requirements from a technical and commercial perspective.
  • Proven capability to set-up and manage projects/project teams.
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to plan strategically.
  • Attention to detail, delivering high quality work to deadlines under time pressure.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes to process data and construct professional PowerPoint presentations, MS Word documents and Excel spreadsheet for presenting in a professional and consistent format.
  • Able to carry out detailed analysis and present recommendations in a way that is easily understood throughout the business.
  • Looking to innovate, effect and respond to change.
