TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting a Sevenoaks based accountancy practice who are looking for an Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper to join their team.

The Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper will be tasked with responsibilities such as general bookkeeping, VAT returns, supporting with management accounts and training clients on cloud software.

It’s a great opportunity to develop your technical knowledge as you’ll be able to work on some complex and interesting work. They're also offering lots of support and on the job training.

Acting for varied sole traders, partnerships and limited company SME's and OMB's of varying sizes and industry sectors, you will deliver bookkeeping, support with management accounts, VAT, and other services to mixed clients.

  • Preparing financial data up to trial balance
  • Double entry bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
  • Prepayments and accruals
  • VAT returns
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts

Requirements
  • AAT studying, qualified or qualified by experience
  • Experience with Xero or QuickBooks Software
  • Competent with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
