Reed Practice East Anglia are delighted to be able to offer candidates the chance to join this exceptional regional chartered certified accounting firm, in the role of Accounts Technician, responsible for producing high quality accounts and tax returns for the firms' clients.

Responsibilities will include:

• Processing client data to produce draft accounts.

• Finalising file sections and cross-referencing schedules.

• Completing transaction using Cloud accounting software

• Producing draft VAT returns from client records, completing the full return once confirmed.

• Preparation of Corporate Tax returns, submission to HMRC.

• Completing self-assessment tax returns including detailed Capital Gains calculations, prepare schedules of income from property.

• Attending client’s premises to assist on external audit as and when required.

We invite those who have fully completed your AAT exams - or qualified by experience - to apply. Ideally you will have worked in an accountancy firm however those who are looking to make a change to the profession from industry who understand how a practice firm works will be considered.

Salary will reflect the experience of the successful applicant.
