Accountant (SAP/Netsuite) - Beauty Brand - Temp to Perm

Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a truly sustainable and diverse global beauty brand, who are experiencing high growth within the UK and European markets. This is a publicly listed organisation with a group revenue of + $500 million.

With their HQ in the USA the growing UK finance team is now looking for a part or newly-qualified accountant to join their team based in central London (hybrid working).

This role requires someone to start immediately or on short notice (maximum 2-week notice period) for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the intention to then be transferred to a permanent contract (potential to go straight perm).

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Senior Accountant
• Assisting in the month-end process including preparing and posting journals
• Maintain all Balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
• Assist in the preparation of the VAT Returns, the corporation tax accrual, as well as organising payment for VAT, corporation tax and PSA.
• Reconciling eCommerce, credit card accounts and intercompany accounts
• Carry out any training for new employees for the PO process.
• Support with the external audit preparation process
• Assist on the preparation of the Statutory Accounts

Key Requirements:

• Immediately available/available at short notice
• Part-qualified accountant ACCA/CIMA or equivalent is essential.
• 2-3 years’ experience in Accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software. software (i.e. advanced Excel skills and NetSuite/SAP)
• Consumer/Retail/Stock experience will be highly advantageous but is not essential - a passion for the industry, brand and its values is!

This role is based in the office (central London 3 days a week)
