Accountant, in the Construction Industry Salary £55,000 - 65,000. Based in Enfield.

Experience required:

We would like to appoint an experienced Accountant to join this Construction Company. The Accountant will supervise and manage a small team of accounts staff, ensuring the smooth operation of accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing, bank reconciliations, HMRC and CIS return submission to HMRC, month end procedures, reconciling expenses and credit cards. The role will be office based.

  • Monitor operating profitability and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • You will ensure the accurate and timely submissions of VAT and PAYE returns to HMRC
  • The Account would gather the information from the Surveyors and update the spreadsheet
  • Handel all the certificates from the actual Contractor, also attached cost sheet, generate from Easy build
  • Prepare of Monthly and quarterly management accounts and states of affairs for submissions
  • Preparation of every aspect for the audit for the 3 Companies
  • Reconciliation of all the control accounts, supporting and schedules provided for the following: Fix Assets, Bank, Trade debtors, Trade Creditors, VAT (Returns are produced from Easy build, PAYE & CIS and Hire Purchase
  • Prepare weekly forecasts and review month-end balance sheet reconciliations
