Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Rutland for an Accountant to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will be required to conduct financial analysis to assess the Local Authority's financial health and performance. This includes identifying trends, analysing variances, and providing insights to support strategic planning and decision-making. They will advise and assist senior members to help effectively manage resources, including budgeting, revenue management, and expenditure control and they will contribute to the development of financial strategies/long-term financial planning.

CandidateCriteria

  • AAT, CCAB or CIMA Qualified/Part Qualified with considerable PQE
  • Experience of working within a Local Authority finance environment is essential
  • Experience of managing budgets and contributing to the year-end accounts is essential
  • Great communication skills and ability to work professionally and adapt to any team fit.
