About:

Our client is a dynamic and growing business group, a leader in the industry, seeking a talented and experienced Accountant to join their team. The head offices are based in Central London. Committed to providing excellent service, they operate within the Fashion industry. Role Overview:

As the Accountant, you will play a crucial role in their finance team, working closely with the Directors to ensure the delivery of financials. Your responsibilities will include to oversee the in-house accounting function. Initially working with their external accountants to take many of the accounting functions in-house.

Salary:

Competitive salary, up to £60,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of sales invoices
• Reconciliation of weekly costs including analysis of credit cards
• Preparing bank payments that will be externally authorised
• Preparing model and mother agency accounts on a weekly basis
• Chasing payment of invoices
• Liaising with models and mother agencies regarding queries on their accounts
• Knowledge of Sage

Required skills

• ACCA Qualified (or equivalent) with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Able to manage your own time and work independently.
• Accurate data entry and attention-to-detail is crucial given the volume of transactions.
• Excellent use of spreadsheets and ability to use pivot tables.
• Good communicator both verbally and written.
• Pro-active problem solver.
• Discreet when handling sensitive financial information.
• Friendly and approachable.
