Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group are delighted to be assisting their established client with the recruitment of an Accountant to join their prestigious and exciting organisation.  Based near Alton, Hampshire and reporting to the General Manager, this position will be responsible for managing the financial and accounting practices of the organisation. 

What will the Accountant role involve? 

• Summarising and reconciling the output from the membership system with the Sage Accounts system. 

• Processing all financial transactions inclusive of transactional duties 

• Balance sheet reconciliations and month end duties 

• Running financial systems 

• Creating monthly management reports. 

Suitable Candidate for the Accountant vacancy: 

• AAT qualified/part qualified or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. 

• Familiarity with accounting systems, ideally Sage Accounts 950-C/Sage Payroll, and Microsoft Excel. 

• Previous experience in a commercial organisation producing monthly management accounts and statistics. 

• You will also need to be able to drive and have the willingness to be fully office based
