Exciting new opportunity for an Accountant to join a well-established, independent firm of Chartered Accountants, at their office based in Wakefield.

This firm has exciting growth plans for the next 5 years, giving you ample opportunity to progress and grow within the firm.

You will have exposure to a wide range of clients, giving you varied experience to keep your work balanced and interesting!

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of statutory year end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Bookkeeping duties as and when required.


A successful applicant for this Accountant position should:

  • Have 2+ years' experience working as an Accountant in an Accountancy firm.
  • Be studying towards AAT or ACCA.
  • Confident in their account's preparation skills an.
  • Feel comfortable contacting clients.
