Accountant - Reading - Hybrid - 15-month contract - Circa £50.000 per annum
I am currently recruiting for an Accountant for a leading facilities management company in Reading who require an Accountant on a long-term contract
Key duties:
- Manage and lead the transactional finance team
- Review bank reconciliations.
- Approve payment runs.
- Onboard new vendors & verify bank details.
- Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations
- Reconcile intercompany balances
- Calculate and post intercompany recharges.
- Prepare Group accruals and prepayments schedules.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and reconcile monthly.
- Prepare commentary on monthly P&L variances
- Liaise with auditors to provide samples for the year end audit.
- Support with continuous improvement to business processes.
- Ad - Hoc duties
What you will need to be successful:
- AAT Qualified (desirable)
- Deadline focussed
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good attention to detail
