Role

Coyne & Associates has worked alongside Danone for nearly a decade, identifying and appointing high calibre ACAs and ACCAs into its Business Team hub in Trowbridge.

Working as part of supply point’s finance team, you will be responsible for producing and presenting high quality and robust financial, management and regulatory reporting and supporting the planning and forecasting process for the Wexford and Liverpool sites.

  • Planning, animation and monitoring of Financial Control activities: month actuals pre-closing, closing, reporting, audit (internal and external)
  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly closing process, including validation of all closing options and risks & opportunity identification and communication
  • Review and validate monthly reporting (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow and supporting schedules)
  • Prepare the financial statements for local / legal requirements
  • Ensure compliance of financial statements with Group rules for management accounts and local rules for Statutory accounts
  • Manage internal and external audit process for business unit
  • Financial Control monitoring & compliance

About You

As a high potential newly or recently qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA), you will bring experience in audit and controls along with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Location

At Danone they operate Smart Working, this means that its Danoners?are entrusted to balance the needs of their role, business, and stakeholder needs with their own personal choices on where and how they best do their work. They value output and personal contribution, enabling 'Danoners’ to be their most energised, healthy, and productive selves. Typically this would look like 2-3 times/month in the Trowbridge hub.
