ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE TECHNICIAN – Portadown

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Employment: Permanent, full-time, office-based opportunity

My client based in Portadown are currently looking for an Accounting Technician to join their business on a permanent basis.

You will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the practice, handling various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial management.

This is a 3rd generation business with a strong client base of Partnerships, Sole Traders and SME businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions

• Process and record invoices, receipts, and payments

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger balances

• Handle company expenses and payroll systems

• Ensure timely payment of wages and salaries

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements

• Work closely with the team at Tax Yar End

What you’ll need to succeed!

• Qualified Accounting Technician OR ACCA Part Qualified

• 2 years previous experience in an Accountancy Practice

Salary and Benefits:

• 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
