Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Accounts and Advisory Manager to oversee and manage accounting services and advisory projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to client management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage accounting services and advisory projects from planning through to completion
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Provide strategic advisory services on financial and operational matters to clients
  • Conduct financial analysis and identify opportunities for business improvement
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards
  • Identify and resolve complex accounting and advisory issues
  • Prepare detailed accounting and advisory reports and documentation
  • Lead and mentor accounting and advisory teams, providing training and support
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated service offerings
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting and advisory methodologies
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting, financial regulations, and advisory standards

Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and advisory roles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and accounting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Experience in client management and business development
