As part of continuing business growth, my client - a Top 100 Accountancy Firm - has an exciting opportunity for an ACA or ACCA-qualified Accountant to join their team as an Accounts and Audit Senior.

Whilst the successful Accounts and Audit Senior will be based in the Birmingham office, they will be able to work from home up to 2 days a week.

The Role

The Accounts and Audit Senior will provide high quality audit, accounting and related client services to a variety of clients, by reviewing and preparing client accounts, tax or VAT-based work, together with remuneration planning exercises, completing and supervising audit exercises, finalising paperwork for dispatch to clients and HMRC, and assisting with higher-level, technical client audit, accounts, and taxation compliance work for corporate clients.

What experience does the Accounts and Audit Senior need?

• Proven accounts experience gained within a practice environment
• ACA or ACCA-qualified
• A good knowledge of all taxes
• Solid accounts preparation experience
• Experience ideally of cloud accounting software such as Xero
