French Accounts Assistant

 

We are seeking a French Accounts Assistant to effectively manage the accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers for the business in France. The role is part of a larger shared services team that covers Europe and North America.
 
Based: Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remotely
Salary: £26-£30k PA
Monday to Friday

The key responsibilities of the French Accounts Assistant

  • Drive collections activities to ensure timely payments from customers including managing the escalation path for overdue customers.
  • Review, investigate, and follow up on customer disputes to ensure these are resolved promptly.
  • Issue statements and reminder letters from ERP.
  • Setting up new customers ensuring credit policy is followed.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of supplier invoices and achievement of accounts payable service center KPIs.
  • Preparing monthly/weekly payment runs.

The ideal candidate for French Accounts Assistant will:

  • Be a fluent French speaker, able to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Have experience of accounts receivable and accounts payable roles.
  • Possess strong communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relations with internal and external stakeholders.
