Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in the Leeds, LS15 area as they look to recruit several Accounts Assistants to join our clients Reconciliations team on a full time, hybrid, permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and categorise bank statement transactions
  • Perform debt purchase and third party collection bank reconciliations 
  • Work closely with AP, AR & Record to Report internal teams
  • Downloading bank statements 
  • Balancing accounts including double entry bookkeeping 

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience working in a reconciliation role 
  • Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping & analysing financial statements
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a permanent position, working on a hybrid basis (2 days office/ 3 days WFH) based in Leeds, LS15. Interviews being held ASAP, salary between £24,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on experience.
