Accounts Assistant - Will provide study support
Butler Rose are working with a well-established manufacturer to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic finance team. Based in the Warrington, the organisation are a forward thinking manufacturing business.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to grow their career in finance, providing vital support across all aspects of financial administration. The client is also open to providing study support to the successful candidate, if desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts and transactions using the company's ERP system.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring smooth payment processes and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Set up customer and supplier accounts, conducting necessary company checks.
- Generate sales invoices and credits in line with company policies, reconciling accounts receivable ledgers.
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices, ensuring accounts are prepared for monthly payment runs.
- Handle employee expenses in accordance with company policies and facilitate expense payments.
- Support month-end financial processes, working to strict deadlines.
- Manage fuel card administration and conduct monthly reconciliations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who can follow structured processes efficiently.
- Experience with computerised accounting software, with the ability to support different departments and communicate effectively at all levels.
- A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude, demonstrating resilience and positivity.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with confidence in using Excel.
